Search Tips

To enter a query into the search, just type in a keyword or a keyphrase and hit the 'go' button. Our database searches for keywords/keyphrases found in the lesson title or keywords field as entered during the submission process.

Choosing a Keyword: For best results, it's important to choose your keyword wisely. Keep these tips in mind:

  • Use only one word at a time unless searching for a specific keyphrase. If you enter more than one word our database will recognize this as a keyphrase.
  • Try the obvious first, making your keyword as specific as possible. For example, if looking for a lesson on Luke, enter 'Luke' rather than 'disciples'.
  • Use words likely to appear in the lesson database. For example, Bible, Genesis, Creation and so on.

Choosing Keyphrases: Search for complete phrases by entering more than one word. Keyphrase searches are especially useful when searching for a specific project/activity. For example, if looking for a lesson on creationism, enter 'creation book', 'creation project' or 'animal project'.

Keep in mind the database will only list lessons which contain the search string exactly as typed (except for case) in either the document title or keywords field during the submission process.

Capitalization: Our database search is NOT case sensitive. All letters will be understood as lower case. For example, searches for "Fifth and Sixth Days", "fifth and sixth days " will all return the same results.
